My specialties include academic writing (essays, conference papers, research papers, seminar papers, dissertations, and theses), professional editing, proofreading, undergraduate and graduate admission applications, grant and proposal writing, technical writing, formatting, and transcribing. I hold a PhD in Cultural Mediations from the Institute for Comparative Studies in  Literature, Art, and Culture at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, where I have worked as a teaching assistant and tutor for over six years.
